Dr Bryan Acheampong is a unifier and national oriented politician- Communication Director

Mr Eric Amoako Twum, the communication director and spokesperson for the campaign team of Dr Bryan Acheampong  has stated that  the aspiring candidate was capable of unifying the grassroot members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to emerge victorious in the 2028 Presidential and Parliamentary  elections.

According to Mr Twum, Dr  Acheampong was a nationally development oriented assert, and reiterated calls on the delegates in the Agona West, Agona East and Gomoa Central  and other Constituencies across the country to vote massively for him to lead the party. 

He said the party’s victory in 2028 would largely depend on unity, peace and resourceful with heavy and bold decision to lead the party to win the next elections.

 Mr Twum was impressed about the way and manner the delegates gave a rousing welcome to Dr  Acheampong in  three constituencies.

Mr Amoako Twum made this known when he spoke to the GNA in an interview at Agona Swedru after interacting with the  delegates in Agona West, Agona East and Gomoa Central Constituencies as part of the three-day tour of the Central region by Dr  Acheampong to seek the mandate of the party delegates.

The spokesperson said Dr Acheampong held two sensitive ministerial positions in the previous  government namely, Minister of National Security and Minister of Agriculture.

Apart from that, currently more than eight million people in Africa were using his software computers  developed by himself to undertake their various businesses.

He said Dr  Acheampong was neutral among the five Presidential Aspirants, adding that he was capable to unite all  aspirants and their supporters when given the nod to become Presidential Candidate to lead the party.

Mr Twum said apart being IT specialist , Dr Acheampong also managed  the best and biggest hotels in Africa and therefore  advised   delegates, as kingmakers  to  vote massively for him on 31st January, 2026.

The spokesperson said Dr Acheampong being four times Member of Parliament (MP) and a seasoned politician had admonished his campaign team members not to use unprinted words and indecent language against any other aspirant contesting the election for peace and unity of the party.

Mr Twum expressed optimism and trust that the delegates across the 276 constituencies would vote for Dr  Acheampong, adding that he was the only aspiring candidate who could secure victory for the party in the next Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

He said it was  Dr  Acheampong’s wish that the party maintained absolute peace and tranquillity before, during and after the Presidential  primary.

Mr Kofi Karikari Bondzie, former Director of election and Research for Dr  Mahamadu Bawumia said Dr  Acheampong was an action oriented, courageous and resourceful person who would help to prosecute the agenda for 2028 elections.

Mr Bondzie who is also former Constituency Chairman for Abura-Asebu- Kwamankese (AAK) said he resigned from that position and joined the campaign team of Dr  Acheampong because he was  bold and had the  capacity to wait for the final declaration of election results.

He said the NPP needed to be critical about the selection of one of the  candidates to lead the party in the next elections.

Mr Kakari Bondzie said ideally, it was not  an easy task to defeat the siting government in the second term election, NPP must adopt a strategic plan to elect somebody who could unite Dr Mahamadu Bawumia and Kennedy Agyapong’s factions after the primary, else the party would suffer again in the next elections.

He said Dr  Achempong would actualize his vision, therefore he was the person who to win power if given the nod by the delegates.

 The former Constituency Chairman called on the NPP delegates to take a critical look  to make rightful decisions to  elect Dr  Acheampong as Presidential candidate.
