Connectivity between the two metropolitan areas of the Greater Accra region and the Eastern and Western frontiers of the country received a huge boost today following the commissioning of the second Phase of the Tema Motorway Interchange.  The third interchange that President Akufo-Addo has commissioned in just two weeks. The Chamber for Local Governance (ChaLoG) has commended the former President John Dramani Mahama and National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, for including in its manifesto the exemption of pensioners and senior citizens from paying Property Rate Tax. High voter turnout recorded in special voting exercise at Ningo-Prampram

The special voting exercise in the Ningo-Prampram constituency recorded a high voter turnout, reflecting the readiness of eligible voters to participate in the democratic process. A total of 711 voters representing over 85 per cent of the expected 828 eligible voters on the special voters’ register cast their vote. A total of 348 made up of 204 males and 144 females cast their ballots at Centre ‘A’ while 363 comprising 213, and 150 males and females respectively participated in Centre ‘B’. The Electoral Commission (EC) in the Krachi West Constituency of the Oti Region has announced its preparedness ahead of the upcoming special voting on Monday, and the general elections on December 7.
