Fiagbenu cracks down on filth, issues ultimatum to residents 

Mr Guggisberg Fiagbenu, the Assembly Member of the Adidome Central Electoral Area, in partnership with the District Command, Ghana National Fire Service, has initiated measures to remove debris and maintain a clean and safe environment in the area.  Mr Fiagbenu told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that hundreds of residents have been contributing to environmental pollution by pouring debris into opened drains, contaminating water bodies, and connecting their septic tanks to the gutters, causing them to become clogged.   These had resulted in an increased risk of cholera infections, adding that the situation was alarming, and immediate action must be taken to prevent the spread of the in their community, Mr Fiagbenu said.   “We are calling on all residents to take r...
