The citizens of Nkwanta South in the Oti Region are filled with hope and optimism as they eagerly await the fulfilment of promises made by President John Dramani Mahama, upon his inauguration as the new President.
They have expressed the believe that President Mahama would deliver on his commitments and promises.
In an interview with some citizens during and after the swearing-in ceremony the people told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that they believed that his promises to build a new hospital for the Municipality would definitely come to light.
“The President has a proven track record of delivering on his promises,” Mr Asare Kofi, a citizen said.
Some other people said they were impressed by the new President’s sincerity and passion, and so they had overwhelmingly supported him in the elections.
They also believed that the President would deliver on his promises and bring about a brighter future for their community.
The GNA observed that many residents were clued to their Television sets watching proceedings with gleeful admiration.
