The Chalk Talk Foundation-Africa, in partnership with the Youth Association, has launched its ‘2025 Prodigy Examination’ aimed at preparing final-year basic pupils for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE). The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has defended its handling of a case involving the former Finance Minister, Mr Ken Ofori-Atta, stating that it has been fair in its dealings with him. MTN marks Valentine’s Day with blood donation in UWR

Ghana’s telecommunication giant, MTN Ghana, has organised a blood donation exercise in the Upper West Region to beef up the blood banks in the region as an expression of love to humanity on Valentine’s Day. The exercise was held at the Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University (DHLTU) and SDD University of Business and Integrated Development Studies (SDD-UBIDS) in Wa, and the St. Francis Assisi Girls’ Senior High School in Jirapa concurrently. Government urged to improve educational infrastructure for learning mathematics

Government has been urged to expand and upgrade educational infrastructure in the country to create conducive environment needed to facilitate the teaching and learning of mathematics at all levels. IFRC supports training on Cholera Response

The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent, (IFRC) has supported some 80 volunteers to undergo a Cholera response training to help in education, awareness and ending the epidemic in affected Regions. The training would help them with skills to attend to community needs particularly as the rains approached.
