The Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has donated ten (10) laptop computers to the Winneba Divisional Police Headquarters to support police operations and enhance security within the constituency.
The donation, made on Tuesday morning, forms part of the MP’s ongoing efforts to strengthen law enforcement capacity and improve service delivery across the Effutu Municipality.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Ghana Police Service, the Winneba Divisional Police Commander expressed appreciation for the gesture, noting that the laptops will significantly improve administrative work, data management, and overall operational efficiency at the division.

According to the Commander, the new equipment will aid officers in crime reporting, investigations, and intelligence gathering, ultimately contributing to improved public safety and effective policing in the area.
Mr Afenyo-Markin, speaking during the presentation, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting security agencies in the constituency, stressing that effective policing is essential for peace, development, and investor confidence.
He encouraged the police to make good use of the equipment in serving the public diligently and maintaining law and order.
The donation has been welcomed by residents and stakeholders in the Effutu Constituency as a timely intervention to boost the capacity of the Winneba Divisional Police Command.
