CAF increases the Prize Money by 75% of the Winner of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 and the total Prize Money of the CHAN by 32 %

The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) announced today that the Prize Money of the Winner of the TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 has been increased by 75% and the Winner will now receive USD 3.5 million. CAF also announced that the total Prize Money of the CHAN Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 has been increased to USD 10.4 million which is an increase of 32%. The President of CAF Dr Patrice Motsepe said: “We are excited about the upcoming TotalEnergies CAF African Nations Championship (“CHAN”) Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda 2024 and have significantly increased the Prize Money of the Winner to USD 3.5 million which is an increase of 75%. The media accreditation application window for the Final Draw of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 is officially open. The Final Draw will take place on Monday, 27 January 2025 in Morocco. The media accreditation application window will close on Wednesday, 15 January 2025. Media interested in covering the Final Draw can apply via the CAF Media Channel.  All applications are subject to confirmation. Confirmation will NOT be on a first-come, first-served basis. The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has revealed the details of the draw procedure for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), Morocco 2024. The draw will be conducted on Friday, November 22, 2024, at the Mohammed VI Technical Centre in Salé, starting at 20h00 local time (19h00 GMT). The prestigious tournament will bring together Africa’s top 12 teams, and they will be divided into three groups of four.
