Tamale Technical University Approves Major Interventions on Student Welfare
The Management of Tamale Technical University has announced a series of immediate interventions aimed at addressing student welfare concerns following an emergency meeting held with student leaders on Tuesday.
In a statement signed by the Registrar, Shi-Naa Iddrisa Yakubu, and addressed to the Presidents of the Graduate Students’ Association (GRASAAG) and the Students’ Representative Council (SRC), the University outlined five key resolutions to ease tensions and foster a conducive academic environment.
Key interventions include:
Financial Support for SRC Activities – An amount of GHS 400,000 will be transferred to the SRC account before the close of day on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, to support student programs for the academic year.
