The Star Old Students Association (SOSA) has launched the 50th anniversary celebration of the Star Basic School in Tema Community Five. The school, established in 1975, commenced with kindergarten and primary classes, and expanded in 1987 to include junior high school. Mr Kwadwo Owusu Baah, the Chairman of SOSA, speaking at the launch, stated that the anniversary celebration of Star Basic School marked a milestone of five decades of excellence in education and community impact. The session, which was themed "Period-Friendly World", was aimed at empowering students with knowledge, promoting a supportive environment and creating a stigma-free atmosphere.
