141 Arrested in Major Cybercrime Bust at Tabora and Lashibi – Sam George

Ghana’s cybersecurity and law enforcement agencies have carried out a major coordinated operation targeting organised cybercrime networks involved in Mobile Money (MoMo) fraud and other cyber-enabled financial crimes. According to the Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation and Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Samuel Nartey George, the early-morning intelligence-led operation was conducted by the Cyber Security Authority (CSA) in collaboration with the Ghana Police Service, National Security, and the Ghana Immigration Service.
