The Ghana Police Service has arrested 29-year-old Samuel Aryeetey Kortor, who was captured in a widely circulated video discharging a firearm in the Jamestown area of Accra. The arrest, which took place on April 9, 2025, followed an intelligence-led operation conducted by the Police. Authorities have confirmed that Samuel Aryeetey Kortor is also a wanted suspect in an ongoing murder investigation being handled by the Homicide Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). A search of his residence at Gbese-Jamestown led to the discovery of a Beretta pistol with the serial number PX-195994, believed to be the weapon seen in the video.
