Festive Season: Sunyani Teaching Hospital delivers 17 babies
Seventeen babies were born at the Sunyani Teaching Hospital between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, Madam Vivian Kumah, the Midwife in-charge of the Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery (SVD) section of the facility, said on Thursday
Twelve of the babies were delivered through Caesarean Section and they were all in stable condition, including their mothers, she told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) in an interview.
However, the twins among them ( boy and girl) born on December 24, were at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Madam Kumah said this when MTN Ghana, a telecommunication company, presented Christmas hampers containing baby diapers, washing powder, baby dresses, soaps, court sheets, and cotton buds among other items to the mothers.
