Mankessim: Eric Asamoah Sentenced to 16 Years Imprisonment for Defilement
The Circuit Court Two in Cape Coast has sentenced Eric Asamoah to sixteen (16) years imprisonment with hard labour after he pleaded guilty to a charge of defilement.
According to the Ghana Police Service, the incident occurred on November 2, 2025, and the case was subsequently brought before the court, presided over by Her Honour Nana Aba Quaiba Nunoo, on November 6, 2025.
During the court proceedings, the accused, Eric Asamoah, admitted to the offence and was convicted on his own plea. He was then sentenced to sixteen years imprisonment to be served at the Ankaful Prison.
