EPA@50: Konongo Area Office marks anniversary with health walk
As part of activities marking the 50th anniversary of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Konongo Area Office of the Agency has organised a health walk at Konongo in the Ashanti-Akim Central Municipality.
It was attended by participants drawn from public institutions, security agencies, students from local schools, staff of EPA, and the public.
Apart from its health benefits, the walk sought to create public awareness about the devastating effects of negative environmental practices on the environment as the Agency celebrates its Golden Jubilee.
