Some 1,000 seamstresses and hairdressers in the northern part of Ellembelle in the Western Region have taken delivery of sewing machines and hair- dryers from the Member of Parliament (MP), Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, as start-up kits. They also received seed capital as part of the second trench of donations to young women, totaling 5000, who had completed an apprenticeship training programme. Mr Buah made the donation at Nkroful during the NkrumaFestcelebrtion and also at the commissioning of an ultra-modern Community-Based Health Planning Services (CHPS) compound at Santaso in the Aiyinasi-North District. The Member of Parliament (MP)for Ellembele, Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, has presented a new pick-up vehicle valued at GHc850,000.00 to the Uthman Bin Affan Islamic Senior High School (UBAISH) at Kamgbunli in the Western Region. The donation followed an appeal to his office by the headmaster and staff of the school since the breakdown of the only school bus. Making the presentation during a campaign tour of the area, Mr Kofi Buah said the donation formed part of his avowed commitment towards good quality education delivery in the district.
