Police Arrest Three more suspects in Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop Robbery

The Ghana Police Service has arrested three additional suspects in connection with the daylight armed robbery attack on a gold jewellery shop at Adabraka in the Greater Accra Region. The suspects, identified as Fatao Mohammed, also known as Motorway; Nashiru Abubakari, also known as Soldier; and Sadick Abubakar Satire, popularly called 50 Cent, were arrested on 19th January 2026. Police sources indicate that the three are believed to be the main gang leaders behind the robbery syndicate. With these latest arrests, the total number of suspects apprehended in relation to the incident has now risen to seven (7). Police recover vehicle linked to Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop Robbery

The Ghana Police Service has retrieved a Toyota Highlander vehicle believed to have been used in the Adabraka Gold Jewellery Shop robbery which occurred in November 2024, as investigations into the high-profile case continue. The vehicle was recovered on 15 January 2026 at Ashaiman Lebanon from its owner, Abdul Samid Larry, popularly known as “Touch,” who has been arrested in connection with the case. Police say the Toyota Highlander has been impounded as an exhibit to aid ongoing investigations. The suspect is currently in lawful police custody assisting with investigations, as efforts intensify to determine his level of involvement and to track down other individuals connected to the robbery.
