A sod-cutting ceremony has been scheduled to officially commence the construction of a Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS) Compound at Ankwa Dobro in the Nsawam Adoagyiri Constituency.
The event will take place on Saturday, 21st December, 2025, at 3:00 PM, with the Ankwa Dobro Chief’s Palace serving as the converging point for invited guests and community members.
The ceremony will be led by the Member of Parliament for Nsawam Adoagyiri and Minority Chief Whip, Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh, whose initiative and support have been instrumental in bringing this critical health infrastructure project to the community.

The construction of the CHPS Compound is expected to significantly improve access to primary healthcare services for residents of Ankwa Dobro and surrounding communities. It will enhance the delivery of preventive and basic curative healthcare, reduce travel time to distant health facilities, and strengthen community health outcomes.
Traditional leaders, opinion leaders, party officials, and members of the general public are expected to attend the ceremony to witness this important milestone in the constituency’s development efforts.
The project underscores Hon. Frank Annoh-Dompreh’s continued commitment to improving healthcare delivery and promoting the well-being of constituents across Nsawam Adoagyiri.
