NDC Extends Christmas and New Year Greetings, Reaffirms Commitment to Governance Mandate

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has extended warm Christmas and New Year greetings to Ghanaians at home and abroad, urging citizens to reflect on the values of compassion, sacrifice, peace, and gratitude that define the festive season.

In a statement marking the celebrations, the party noted that the Christmas period coincides with the first anniversary of its assumption of office, following the mandate entrusted to it by Ghanaians. The NDC acknowledged the responsibility that comes with governance and reaffirmed its resolve to translate its vision into tangible improvements in the lives of citizens.

According to the statement, the past year has seen the NDC government take deliberate steps to restore confidence in governance, stabilise the economy, and lay the foundation for sustainable growth. The party emphasized that these efforts have been pursued alongside a strong focus on social protection and accountability.

Looking ahead to the new year, the NDC reiterated its commitment to fully delivering on its mandate. Key priorities outlined include economic recovery, job creation—particularly for the youth—strengthening public institutions, and improving living standards across the country.

The party assured Ghanaians of continued responsiveness, discipline, and results-driven governance in the year ahead, expressing confidence that sustained efforts would yield positive outcomes for the nation.

The NDC concluded by wishing all Ghanaians a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
