Mr Wilson Kwami Agbanyo, the Kadjebi District Chief Executive (DCE), has broken the ground for the construction of new three-unit classroom block and ancillary facilities for the Kadjebi Evangelical Presbyterian (E.P) Central Junior High School in the Oti Region.
Mr Agbanyo said the project was funded by the Coastal Development Authority (CoDA) and was meant to replace the old structure, which had its roof ripped off by rainstorm in 2022.
He asked the contractor to speed up work as the students needed the edifice for academic work.
Mr Oliver Wadja, the Project Engineer for Adiwaide Constructions Company, the company executing the work, told the Ghana News Agency (GNA) that it was a three-month project, but they hoped to complete it in two months.
Rev. Mrs Justine Dzakodjo, the Yorm Parish Pastor of the E.P Church,Kadjebi, on behalf of the congregation, thanked the government for the project and prayed it to succeed.
Mr Agbanyo was accompanied by Mr Seth Seyram Deh, the KadjebiDistrict Director of Education, Mr Alex Dotse-Gbogbotsi, the Head of Supervision.
