Ghana to Reopen Embassy in Tehran on September 16

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced the reopening of Ghana’s Embassy in Tehran, Iran, following its temporary closure earlier this year due to heightened tensions between Iran and Israel. GFZA Responds to Viral Video of Improperly Secured Truck at Tema Free Zone

  The Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA) has addressed a viral video circulating on social media involving a truck carrying unsecured containers at the Tema Free Zone enclave. According to the Authority, the incident occurred on Tuesday morning when a truck with registration number GN 9274-12, transporting two empty 20-foot containers to Krishna Exports Ltd at the Tema Export Processing Zone (TEPZ), was spotted with one of the containers improperly positioned. Some vigilant citizens intercepted the truck around 11:30 a.m. and reported the matter to the Ghana Fire Service office located within the enclave. One feared dead, others injured after bus runs over traders at COCOBOD area

One person is feared dead with several others injured after an Ayalolo bus ran over some traders at the COCOBOD area, in the Central Business District of Accra, on Monday. The incident was said to have occurred at about 1530 hours.
