EPA to Roll Out Nationwide Compliance Enforcement Exercises Under Environmental Protection Act, 2025

The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) of Ghana has announced that it will embark on a series of Compliance Enforcement Exercises across the country to ensure strict adherence to environmental regulations and sustainable development practices. The move, the EPA says, is in line with its mandate under the Environmental Protection Act, 2025 (Act 1124), as well as the Environmental Assessment Regulations, 1999 (LI 1652) and the Hazardous Electronic and Other Wastes (Classification), Control and Management Regulations, 2016 (LI 2250).
