Osabarima Agyare Tenadu II Abdicates as Chief of Kade After 21 Years of Service

Osabarima Agyare Tenadu II, the Chief of Kade and occupant of the Aduana I Stool, has officially announced his abdication after twenty-one years of service to the Kade Traditional Area and Okyeman. Enstooled in April 2004, Osabarima Agyare Tenadu II’s reign was marked by both progress and challenges. Oppong Nkrumah Scholarship Program Disburses GHS 134,000 to 9th Batch of Beneficiaries

The Office of the Member of Parliament for Ofoase Ayirebi, Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, has announced the disbursement of GHS 134,000 to the latest cohort of beneficiaries under the Oppong Nkrumah Scholarship and Bursaries Program. A total of 22 students from 16 tertiary institutions across the country received financial support in this 9th batch of the initiative, which was established in 2017 to promote access to higher education for brilliant but needy students within the constituency. Government has released fund to initiate development projects – Keta MCE

Mr Wisdom Seade, the Keta Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) says government has released enough funds to finish and initiate many developmental projects in the various communities. The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has ended a two-day training workshop for selected media practitioners, with a pledge to empower the media to tackle the growing misinformation and disinformation in the digital space. Mr Bernard Ato Otabil, the Director of Communications of the BoG who gave the pledge noted that misinformation and disinformation threatened the digital economy, hence the need to enlighten the media about emerging financial and economic issues to deepen their understanding. Gov’t intensifying pension reforms to cover informal sector workers – Minister

Government is intensifying efforts to integrate informal sector workers into voluntary pension schemes as part of broader reforms to secure dignified retirement for all Ghanaians. Dr Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, Minister of Labour, Jobs and Employment, said this at the Third Health Sector Occupational Pension Scheme Annual General Meeting in Accra. NATIONAL SERVICE AUTHORITY EXTENDS ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 2025/2026 SERVICE YEAR

The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially announced an extension of the deadline for the ongoing online registration for the 2025/2026 national service enrollment . Originally scheduled to close on Wednesday, 15th October 2025, the registration period has now been extended to Monday, 27th October 2025. According to a statement released by the Authority, the decision to extend the deadline is intended to provide additional time for eligible graduates who, for various reasons, were unable to complete their registration within the initial timeframe.
