Calm has been restored at Nsuaem in the Western Region after a violent attack on the Nsuaem Police Station by an angry mob on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. According to the Western Central Regional Police Command, the incident began when a group of about fifteen men, accompanied by two children aged seven and five, brought a suspect, Sulley Moses, aged 25, to the police station. Two Remanded in Tarkwa Over Acid Attack at Aboso

Two persons have been remanded into prison custody by the Tarkwa District Magistrate Court in connection with an acid attack at Aboso in the Tarkwa Municipality of the Western Region. The court, presided over by His Worship Charles Owusu, remanded the suspects after they were arraigned on charges of abetment of crime, contrary to Section 20(1) of the Criminal Offences Act 1960 (Act 29), and causing unlawful harm, contrary to Section 69 of the same Act. POLICE ARREST SUSPECT FOR STEALING EPA VEHICLE IN TARKWA

The Western Central Regional Police Command has arrested a suspect in connection with the theft of a Toyota Land Cruiser belonging to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The vehicle, with registration number GS 1845-23, was reported stolen in the early hours of April 15, 2025, from the residence of an EPA employee at Budo City, a suburb of Tarkwa in the Western Region. The suspect, identified as Salifu Gariba, was apprehended by officers from the Northern Regional Police Command on April 16, 2025, at Kukobila, located along the Tamale-Bolgatanga highway.
