Mr. Stephen Adom, the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, has launched “Operation No Darkness Phase 5” to restore broken streetlights across the municipality. “Operation No Darkness” is an exercise by the Ho Municipal Assembly to restore streetlights in communities across the municipality, aimed at improving public safety, security, and economic activity. In a major step toward improving safety and security across the Ashanti Region, the Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has announced a two-year contract with Prefos Company Ltd. to maintain key sections of the street lighting network. This initiative, facilitated through the intervention of the Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwame Agbodza, has been awarded through the Highway Authority. The maintenance contract will cover two critical routes like Ejisu Abenase to Tech Police Station and Suame to Buoho and other areas.
