Mahama Directs Expansion of Security Services Recruitment to 40,000
President John Dramani Mahama has directed a significant expansion of recruitment into Ghana’s security services, increasing the planned intake from 20,000 to 40,000 personnel over the next four years.
The directive followed a high-level meeting chaired by the President with the heads of various security agencies, as well as the Minister for the Interior and the Acting Minister for Defence. The meeting focused on reviewing the ongoing recruitment process across the country’s security institutions.
