Parliamentary Candidates (PC) at Amenfi West Constituency in the Western Region have reiterated their commitment to uphold the principles of peace before, during and after the upcoming general election on December 7. They made the commitments when the Wassa Amenfi West Municipal Directorate of the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), organised a dialogue for them to deliberate on how to ensure political stability in the constituency. VP Bawumia Launches Digital Border Control System And E-Gates At Kotoka Airport

The Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has launched an innovative digital border control system and e-gates, at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra. The digital border control system, which allows rapid biometric and facial immigration checks, will enable holders of the Ghanacard to swiftly go through designated e-gates without immigration officials on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport. High voter turnout recorded in special voting exercise at Ningo-Prampram

The special voting exercise in the Ningo-Prampram constituency recorded a high voter turnout, reflecting the readiness of eligible voters to participate in the democratic process. A total of 711 voters representing over 85 per cent of the expected 828 eligible voters on the special voters’ register cast their vote. A total of 348 made up of 204 males and 144 females cast their ballots at Centre ‘A’ while 363 comprising 213, and 150 males and females respectively participated in Centre ‘B’.
