Government Assures Safety of Ghanaians in Middle East Amid Rising Tensions
The Government of Ghana has held a high-level virtual meeting with its Ambassadors and Consuls General in the Middle East to assess the evolving security situation in the region and strengthen measures to protect Ghanaian nationals.
The meeting, convened by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, brought together Heads of Mission from Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Iran, and Turkey.
According to a statement issued after the meeting, the discussions focused on the latest developments in the region and explored additional consular interventions to ensure the safety of Ghanaians living and working in the affected countries.
