Young people in Keta sensitized on Climate Change effects and ocean overnance 

The Strategic Youth Network for Development Ghana (SYND), a non-governmental organization, focused on climate change and biodiversity, has educated fisherfolk and young residents of Keta on the effects of climate change and its link to ocean governance.  The sensitisation programme, which is part of SYND’s project on ocean governance, aims to involve the youth in decision-making on natural resource management and environmental conservation. Keta: Residents express mixed reaction about shortlisted MDCEs

Some residents in the Keta Municipality of the Volta Region have expressed mixed reaction to the final shortlisted three names announced by regional vetting committee for the Keta Municipal Chief Executive position. The three shortlisted names who were among the 14 aspirants vetted include Mr Wisdom Bondeiu Seade, Assembly member for Anyako electoral area and Keta NDC constituency Chairman, Mr Joseph Kwadzo Amekuedi, the Deputy Constituency Chairman and Mr Emmauel Kwaku Tay, the constituency Secretary.
