United States Provides Nearly $200 Million in Additional Humanitarian Assistance for the People of Sudan

Today, at a United Nations Security Council meeting on Sudan, Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced that the United States will provide nearly $200 million in additional humanitarian assistance for Sudan in response to the world’s largest humanitarian crisis.  With this additional assistance, through USAID and the State Department, the United States will continue to provide urgently needed agriculture support, food assistance, water, sanitation, and hygiene support, nutrition, and health and protection services for the most vulnerable Sudanese, including internally displaced people and refugees.
