Abosso Goldfields Limited revokes scholarships of 10 students
Mr Abdul-Razak Yakubu, Executive Secretary of Gold Fields Ghana Foundation (GFGF) says the Abosso Goldfields Limited (AGL) has revoked scholarships for 10 students in its operational area.
He stated that the scholarships were withdrawn due to the affected students continuous poor performance.
Addressing the Mines stakeholders at its quarterly Community Consultative Committee meeting held at Damang in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality, Mr Yakubu explained that any student whose performance dropped below second class lower first had a warning letter, and they have done that.
