Minority Caucus Congratulates Dr. Bawumia on Election as NPP Flagbearer

The Minority Caucus in Parliament has congratulated Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia following his decisive victory in the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primary held on 31 January 2026, describing the outcome as a clear mandate from party delegates nationwide and in the diaspora. Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has acknowledged that failure to heed to the generality of Ghanaians and party enthusiasts, caused the party in the Election 2024.
