President Mahama Calls for Withdrawal of Bill Seeking to Repeal Office of Special Prosecutor Act
President John Dramani Mahama has formally requested the Majority Leader and the Majority Chief Whip in Parliament to withdraw a Private Member’s Bill that seeks to repeal the Act establishing the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
The request follows the President’s recent public statement reaffirming his support for strengthening the OSP as a critical institution in Ghana’s fight against corruption.
