Former Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has officially announced his retirement from international football, bringing to an end a remarkable career that spanned nearly 15 years in Nigeria’s national colours.
In an emotional message addressed to Nigerians and the Super Eagles family, Musa described his journey with the national team as one filled with pride, sacrifice, and deep gratitude. He recalled his early days as a young player receiving simultaneous invitations to the U-20, U-23 and senior national teams, noting that despite the constant travel and learning curve, he never hesitated whenever Nigeria called.
