The National Service Authority (NSA) has released Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes for 14,349 trained teachers to enable them enroll for the 2026/27 National Service Year.
In a statement issued on March 9, 2026, the Authority announced that the PIN codes are available for eligible graduates from 36 accredited Colleges of Education that have successfully submitted their class lists to the NSA.
According to the Authority, 49 Colleges of Education are accredited nationwide, but only 36 institutions have so far submitted their lists, which allowed the generation of PIN codes for their graduates.

Eligible trained teachers are required to visit the NSA official website at https://gnsa.gov.gh/home, click on the portal, and access their PIN codes using their Student ID numbers and dates of birth.
Registration Fee and Deadline
Prospective national service personnel are required to pay a registration fee of GHC82.00 via Mobile Money across all networks to gain access to the online enrollment platform.
The NSA stated that the enrolment exercise officially begins on March 9, 2026, and will end on March 20, 2026.
Management of the Authority has therefore urged all eligible trained teachers to complete their online registration within the stipulated period to avoid being left out of the national service deployment process.
Mandatory National Service Requirement
The Authority further reminded the public that under the National Service Authority Act, 2024 (Act 1119), every Ghanaian citizen aged 18 years and above who graduates from an accredited tertiary institution — including universities and Colleges of Education — is legally required to undertake national service.
