Mr Safo Nketia, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Krachi East municipality of the Oti Region, has successfully renovated the Tokuroano and Asukkawkaw Zonal Council Offices, restoring the facilities to a good and functional state.
The refurbished buildings are now ready for use, marking a significant improvement in local infrastructure.
The projects involved refurbishing the offices to enhance working conditions for council staff and its initiative aims to strengthen grassroots administration and improve service delivery to communities in the two zones.

Mr Nketia highlighted the benefits of the newly renovated two zonal council offices in the municipality.
He said the offices would enhance access to government services and information for local populations, in addition, the facilities would bring services closer to communities, making them more accessible.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), the MCE noted that the zonal offices would reduce bureaucracy and simplify processes for community needs.
Leaders and members of the Tokuroano and Asukkawkaw communities have lauded the MCE, for renovating the decades-old zonal council offices. Again, they praised MCE for addressing long-standing infrastructure needs in the area.
The offices had remained outmooded, hindering effective administration and the renovation aims to enhance access to services and community engagement.
