The Chevening Alumni Ghana on Monday inaugurated a new Executive Committee for the 2025/2026 term in Accra with Mr. Eugene E. Tornyeavah as President. Tudec Development Centre and the National Peace Council have honoured individuals of varied faiths and offices for their contributions to peacebuilding and interfaith coexistence. Transport Ministry forms committee to review okada commercialisation regulations

The Ministry of Transport has inaugurated a 13-member inter-agency committee to review the Road Traffic Regulations 2012 (L.I. 2180) to allow commercial operations of motorcycles, known as “okada,” and tricycles. The committee, comprising representatives from key institutions and law enforcement, has three weeks to propose amendments, including operational modalities for implementing commercial motorcycles and tricycles. It will engage stakeholders such as transport operators, “okada” riders, and the public. A two-day training workshop for selected officers of various security agencies in the Northern Region has been held in Tamale. Thirteen nurses in Upper East vacated post in 2024- Director
