The Ghana Education Service (GES) has removed Mr. Charles Akwasi Aidoo, the Assistant Headmaster (Academic) of KNUST Senior High School, from office following the circulation of a viral video allegedly involving him in a compromising situation with a female student.
In a statement signed by Mr. Daniel Fenyi, Head of Public Relations at GES, management described the matter as one of utmost seriousness and assured the public that swift action has been taken to protect students and maintain the integrity of the teaching profession.
“Mr. Aidoo has already been removed from office and prohibited from visiting the school while thorough investigations are being carried out,” the statement read.

The Service further assured stakeholders, parents, and students that due process will be followed, and any disciplinary measures will be applied in accordance with the GES code of conduct.
The GES reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the welfare and dignity of students across the country, emphasizing that it strongly condemns any actions that compromise child protection, discipline, and professionalism within the education system.
