Resilient Parin FC beats New Dove FC

Parin FC showed their resilience and character in week nine of the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) Division Three league played at the Apenkwa Astro Turf on Friday. Again, Parin FC had to come back on occasions before going on to win the game 3-2, to push them to the top of the table with 19 points. New Dove opened the scores in the early minutes of the game through Emmanuel Ampqdu. But Parin FC leveled up though Micheal Ayertey, who pounced on through pass from Rapheal Tetteh to score. The game went into recess with both teams at equal strength, but on resumption, Isaac Debrah converted a penalty for New Dove after Edward Osei fouled an attacker. Deadlock! Parin FC and BYC Share Points

League contenders Parin FC were held to a goalless draw game by BYC in the eighth week league game played at the Alajo Astro Turf last Saturday. It was a nerve wracking game for both sides, who are top contenders for the league. BYC who are leading the table with 15’points with a goal difference scored first through Abdul Aziz Seidu. With few minutes to and the first half, slippery Jones Baah Adusei equalized through the spot kick. But this was short lived as Hassan Boadi put BYC back into the lead to end the first half. Coach Eric Nyarko of Parin FC made some changes which ensured a revived team in the second half and saw them level up in the later stages of the second half. The stands remain same as the league enters the ninth week.

Ayertey saves day as Parin FC defeats Prestige Heights

Top marksman Micheal Ayertey was on hand to save high flying Parin FC as they beat Prestige Heights 2-1 in the Accra North District Football Association (ANDFA) Division Three League at the Alajo Astro Turf. In a match that saw both sides exhibiting a lot of aggression, good technique and desire to carry the day, Prestige Heights were more purposeful upfront and recorded the first goal. A swift build-up by Prestige Heights saw them penetrate the defence of Parin FC, which handed a cool tap for Nuruudeen Hussein to open the scores. Parin fought back and got a penalty after Ayertey was brought down but skipper Edward Ose’s kick hit the cross bar to deny them the equalizer, to end the first half in favour of Prestige Heights. Parin FC - a Division Three side based in Tantra Hills, Accra are gradually gaining dominance in the Accra North District league after securing a 2-1 victory over Nima Kings at the Borstal Institute Astro Turf in Accra on Saturday. Going into the game with confidence, Parin FC scored first through an own goal from Nima Kings Samson Essah who was forced to direct the ball into his net after presure in the first half. Nima Kings equalized through a penalty in the second half and opened the game up for intense battle for winner.
