Minister inaugurates technical Committee to review final draft of National Public Sector Reform Strategy 

Madam Lydia Lamisi Akanvariba, Minister of State for Public Sector Reforms, has charged the newly inaugurated Technical Committee tasked to review the final National Public Sector Reform Strategy (NPSRS 2025-2029) draft to develop a strategy that meets the needs and aspirations of Ghanaians. She said such a strategy was crucial in building an efficient, accountable and citizen-focused institutions to improve public service delivery.  “Let us work together to deliver a Strategy that will not only reform systems but also contribute to the building of the Ghana we all want,” she said. The Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG) Kutunse District in the Ga Presbytery on Sunday inducted into office Reverend Dr Chris Baah Nartey as its new district minister. Minister-Designate vows to end undervaluation of public lands in Ghana 

Mr Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah, the Minister-Designate for Lands and Natural Resources, Emmanuel Monday opposed the sale of public lands at undervalued prices, emphasising that future transactions must be conducted at prevailing market rates to protect the interests of the Ghanaian people.  He also criticised alleged existing practices that allowed public lands to be sold at significantly lower rates, describing it as detrimental to national development.  Mr Buah made the remarks during his vetting by Parliament's Appointments Committee in Parliament.  According to Mr Buah, the current guidelines used by the Lands Commission "value public lands at only 25 per cent of their market value, with the remainder paid through ground rent," he told the Committee.  As a resul...
