IOC Executive Board meeting – 25-26 June 2025 – Information for the media

Following the handover of the Presidency of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to Kirsty Coventry, the IOC Executive Board (EB) will convene for a two-day meeting from Wednesday 25 to Thursday 26 June 2025, at Olympic House in Lausanne, Switzerland. The meeting will be preceded by a day-and-a-half of consultations with the IOC Members. Kirsty Coventry has invited the Members to take part in this consultation, on the theme of “Pause and Reflect”, with the aim of helping to shape a new roadmap for the Olympic Movement. French Alps 2030 delivers first report to IOC Executive Board

The recently created Organising Committee for the Olympic Winter Games (OCOG) French Alps 2030today gave its first presentation to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board(EB) in Costa Navarino, Greece. The report was delivered by Organising Committee President and Olympic champion Edgar Grospiron alongside French Sports Minister and former Paris 2024 Executive Director of Impact and Legacy, Marie Barsacq. In the context of the timelines set by the IOC EB to which the election of the French Alps by the IOC Session was subject, the French government confirmed its strong commitment to the project.
