Sporadic shooting rocks Ho Zongo, 10 injured, 15 arrested
The Police have arrested 15 suspects after a sporadic shooting in the Ho Zongo, injuring several people and heightening security concerns.
The incident occurred on Friday morning within the Zongo community, prompting a swift joint police and military response to restore calm.
Some residents sustained gunshot-related injuries during the disturbance and were rushed to the Ho Teaching Hospital for medical attention.
Speaking to the Ghana News Agency at the hospital, Dr Edward Agyekum (Med.), Head of the Accident and Emergency Unit, said 10 victims were received for treatment.
