The Upper West Regional office of Zoomlion Ghana Limited has intensified a region-wide disinfestation exercise to reduce the population of disease-transmitting vectors and promote a clean and healthy environment, particularly during the Christmas period. The exercise, which was carried out from December 9 to December 22, 2025, covered all the eleven districts and municipalities in the region and targeted major breeding grounds for vectors such as mosquitoes, houseflies and other insects that pose threats to public health.
