Soldier arrested for assaulting two civilians in viral video at Burma Camp pharmacy
The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has arrested a soldier captured in a viral video physically assaulting two civilians a drug store attendant and a female customer at a pharmacy located within Burma Camp.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, sparked widespread public outrage after the video was aired on GHOne TV and circulated on various social media platforms.
According to a statement signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin, Acting Director General of Public Relations for the Ghana Armed Forces, the suspect was arrested at dawn on Thursday, October 30, 2025, by personnel of the Ghana Military Police.
