Assembly members urged to confirm MMDCEs to be appointed
Nene Dameh Agbewornu II, Chief of Sege, has urged all assembly members to hasten the development of their communities by promptly confirming those the president will nominate as metropolitan, municipal, or district chief executives.
Nene Agbewornu also appealed to districts that were yet to vote for presiding members to do so as soon as possible, as it hinders the development of the districts and Ghana as a whole.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency (GNA) at Sege-Nakomkorpe, he noted that the politicisation of the elections of the leadership at the local government level was delaying the progress of the district assemblies.
