The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has issued a notice declaring several former students persona non grata on its campus following their dismissal from the university in July 2025.
According to the notice released on March 9, 2026, the affected individuals include Roland Botwe Nsiah (Student No. 21079431), Bernard Boadi (Student No. 21161358), John Kelvin Kane (Student No. 21125897), Felix Acquah (Student No. 21090747), and Francis Tutu Atuahene (Student No. 20782684). All five were reportedly dismissed from the university effective July 21, 2025.
The university stated that, following their dismissal, the individuals are no longer permitted on campus grounds and are therefore considered persona non grata. The notice further indicated that anyone who encounters the individuals on campus is expected to report them to the university’s security services or the nearest police station.

It also warned that students, groups, or affiliates found associating with the dismissed individuals would face disciplinary action in accordance with university statutes and relevant laws.
The announcement was circulated for the information of the university community as part of measures to maintain order and security on campus.
The university has not provided additional details regarding the specific circumstances that led to the dismissals.
