In a heartfelt message to fans and patrons, GARAGE Accra has announced it will be closing its doors for the final time on Sunday, June 29, 2025, marking the end of an extraordinary era in Ghana’s nightlife scene.
What began as a bold concept blossomed into a cultural movement that transformed the capital’s entertainment landscape. For over five years, GARAGE was more than just a nightclub—it was a vibrant hub of music, food, energy, and unforgettable memories.
“After 5½ incredible years, GARAGE is closing its doors for the final time,” read the official statement. “What started as a bold idea turned into a movement. A place where Accra came alive with music, flavor, culture, and unforgettable memories.”

GARAGE has been home to thousands of unforgettable nights—hosting international DJs, local performers, themed parties, and community events that brought people together from all walks of life. It was a place where patrons danced, celebrated, and created lasting memories. From casual nights out to major event weekends, the venue became a staple of the city’s nightlife.
The owners expressed immense gratitude to the city and its people:
“To everyone who ever danced, drank, celebrated, worked, performed, or found themselves at GARAGE, thank you. You made it what it was.”
While the closure marks the end of a significant chapter, the team behind GARAGE hinted that this may not be a permanent goodbye.
“This isn’t goodbye forever. Just the end of this chapter.”
The venue invites fans to join in one last celebration on Sunday, June 29, 2025, for a final night of music, energy, and community.
As Accra prepares to say goodbye to one of its most iconic nightlife destinations, many are already reminiscing about the legacy GARAGE leaves behind—one defined by passion, creativity, and connection.
