Black Sherif Supports Mothers at 37 Military Hospital

Ghanaian music star Black Sherif (Mohammed Ismail Sharrif) has once again demonstrated his commitment to social responsibility by supporting underprivileged mothers at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

The award-winning artiste donated large quantities of assorted essential items to mothers receiving care at the hospital’s Nkrumah and Yebuah Wards. In addition to the material support, he fully settled the medical bills of several mothers, amounting to GH¢50,696.00.

The initiative was carried out through the Mohammed Ismail Sharrif Foundation, the charitable organisation established by the musician to support vulnerable groups and promote community wellbeing. The foundation’s work aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3.1, which focuses on reducing global maternal mortality and ensuring women have access to safe and quality maternal healthcare services.

Observers say the gesture highlights the growing role of public figures in championing health and social causes, while offering relief to families facing financial difficulties during childbirth.

Black Sherif’s act of kindness serves as a reminder that compassion, generosity, and collective responsibility can make a meaningful and lasting impact on society.
