The Minister for Education, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, and the Deputy Minister for Communications and Digital Technology, Hon. Mohammed Adams Sukparu, are reported to be in stable condition following a road traffic accident involving their convoy.
According to an official statement from the Office of the Minister for Education, the incident occurred today while the ministers and their teams were travelling along the Bolgatanga–Tumu Road. They were en route to the Upper West Region for official engagements marking the 40th anniversary celebrations of Tumu College of Education and Jahan College of Education.
The statement confirmed that all members of the convoy are currently in stable condition and are receiving the necessary medical care after the accident.

The Office also expressed appreciation to emergency responders, health professionals, and members of the public who provided swift assistance at the scene.
