One dead, 20 injured in an accident in Cape Coast

The Central Regional Command of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) on Tuesday, morning rescued 20 victims of a road crush on the Accra-Cape Coast highway, leaving one dead. According to the Central Regional Command, Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) a stationary Man Diesel truck with registration WR 1546-V, parked on the road shoulder due to a mechanical fault, was hit by a Mercedes Sprinter minibus (registration CR 623-25) travelling toward Cape Coast while overtaking another vehicle. Five people have perished, with 12 others sustaining various degrees of injuries, in a fatal accident that occurred at Wakrom near Yamoransa on the Cape Coast-Accra Highway.
