The Ashanti South Regional Police Command has apprehended two individuals believed to be connected to a recent robbery and the tragic murder of a 20-year-old man, identified as Kofi Mensah, at Tweapease-Aboo in the Ashanti Region.
According to preliminary police reports, the suspects were arrested following an intensive intelligence-led operation conducted by officers in the area. The incident, which occurred earlier this week, involved a violent robbery that resulted in the untimely death of the victim.
The Regional Police Command confirmed that the suspects are currently in custody and assisting with ongoing investigations. Authorities have assured the public that every effort is being made to bring all persons involved in the crime to justice.

“The Police remain committed to ensuring the safety and security of all residents. We urge members of the public to continue supporting law enforcement efforts by providing credible information that can aid in our investigations,” a statement from the Command noted.
The body of the deceased has since been deposited at the morgue for preservation and autopsy, while further investigations continue to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
